HOMEWOOD, PA - March 26, 2025 - The Maker's Clubhouse (TMC) Early Learning Center,  serving local families in Homewood, is proud to announce it has achieved Keystone STARS Level 2 certification, a significant milestone in Pennsylvania's quality rating system for early childhood education programs.

The achievement recognizes TMC's commitment to kindergarten readiness through its high-quality Frog Street Pre-K curriculum. This comprehensive, dual-language approach supports diverse learners ages 3-5 by focusing on both foundational academic skills, such as letter recognition and reading comprehension, and crucial social-emotional development, ensuring children enter elementary school confident and fully prepared to thrive.

"This certification reflects our dedication to creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive racial identity, engages children in critical thinking, and prepares them academically and socially for future educational success," said Pastor Cynthia Wallace, ELC Founder and Executive Director of The Oasis Project at Bible Center Church.

The experienced teachers and staff are dedicated to recognizing each child's unique talents and abilities. Program hours are Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. The center offers need-based scholarships and accepts Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) subsidy to ensure accessibility for all families.

The Early Learning Center is currently enrolling students for spring, summer, and fall terms. For more information about enrollment opportunities, please contact the center at 412-727-1644 or visit https://www.tmcearlylearning.org to schedule a tour.
