TMC Early Learning Center Achieves Prestigious 4-Star Keystone STARS Rating
PITTSBURGH, PA - September 23, 2025 - The Maker's Clubhouse (TMC) Early Learning Center proudly announces it has achieved a 4-Star rating from Pennsylvania's Keystone STARS quality rating system—the highest level of recognition for early childhood education programs in the state.
This prestigious achievement places TMC among Pennsylvania's top early learning centers, demonstrating exceptional quality across all areas of early childhood education, including staff qualifications, learning environment, family engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
"Achieving a 4-Star Keystone STARS rating validates our unwavering commitment to educational excellence," said Dr. Cynthia Wallace, Executive Director of The Oasis Project and Executive Pastor of Bible Center Church, alongside her husband, Dr. John Wallace, Senior Pastor. "This recognition reflects our dedication to creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive racial identity, engages children in critical thinking, and prepares them academically and socially for future educational success."
TMC provides consistent, high-quality education year-round, eliminating learning gaps with one trusted solution parents can count on. The center's comprehensive Frog Street Pre-K curriculum supports diverse learners ages 3-5 by focusing on both foundational academic skills—such as letter recognition and reading comprehension—and crucial social-emotional development, ensuring children enter elementary school confident and fully prepared to thrive.
The 4-Star rating recognizes TMC's evidence-based approach to kindergarten readiness and highly qualified teaching staff. Under the leadership of ELC Director DiAnne Levy, the center's commitment to family engagement through regular one-on-one meetings and parent feedback sessions also contributed to this exceptional rating.
Located at Bible Center Church (717 N. Homewood Ave.), TMC Early Learning Center is part of The Oasis Project, the church's community outreach and economic development division. The center offers need-based scholarships and accepts Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) scholarships to ensure accessibility for all families.
"This 4-Star recognition affirms what our families already know—TMC Early Learning Center provides exceptional early childhood education that sets the foundation for lifelong learning success," added Dr. Wallace.
TMC Early Learning Center still has openings for students this fall and is pre-registering 2-year-old children. For more information about enrollment opportunities, please contact the center
